A Physician Driven Approach

Diversified Clinical Services programs are operated in conjunction with physician medical directors and teams of physicians from the local medical communities in which we operate. Programs have continuous support from Diversified Clinical Services's Executive Vice President of Medical Affairs, Chief Medical Officer, Regional Medical Directors, and a national network of trained wound care nurses. We also assist hospitals in educating their physician communities to help stimulate referrals to their program.

Patients Remain In The Care Of The Referring Physician.

When physicians refer a patient to a Diversified Clinical Services wound program, the patient meets with the program staff for a consultation, including an examination and medical history evaluation. The physician, along with the wound care team, establishes a treatment plan. Information regarding the patient's progress, along with updated photos of the wound, are submitted to the referring physician on an ongoing basis. The referring physician always remains an active member of the wound care management team and the patient remains under his or her care.
